Dan Earthquake A man who broke many records but describes himself as 'More a stuntman than an athlete'. Dan is a keen open water swimmer and is doing a great job in introducing people to the sport. The site has lots of valuable information on keeping fit and more.
Digger's site. The wildest of all wild-swimmer's sites
The site contains lots of entertaining material and serious information. It has (not) been sponsored by Yorkshire Water and Bucks County Council. According to Digger, the former have been winners of the most @&?# "No Swimming" signs award for many years. However, in 2003 Bucks County Council closed the swimming area in Black Park Country Park thus ensuring that they win the "scum of the water" award until it is reopens..

A keen swimmer and hiker Peter Hayes, from Beamish, found police had taken away his clothes during a day at the beach, believing they belonged to a suicide victim. As a result of this experince, Peter has come up with a waterproof rucksack, which he can take swimming.
